What have they said?

Frampton: “I’m 34 now. I won’t be boxing when I’m 36, I’ll tell you that.

“I know there isn’t too long left, and I will get out at the right time. But I still have a few fights left in me.”

“I think my kids Carla and Rossa are looking forward to me retiring.

“And [wife] Christine, hopefully, too. I am not sure. Me being around the house all the time might not be brilliant.”

Herring: “I do take one fight at a time but if I beat Carl then there are mega fights out there for me at super-featherweight and, who knows, I may move up to lightweight.

“A unification fight at super-featherweight would be very big and another world title at lightweight would be great as well.

“Beating Carl would mean a lot, it would be a big statement. I respect Carl a lot, he has done a tremendous job in his career and as a fan I love watching him. Beating him would take me to new heights.”

  • ONE BRAVE DUDE

Manchester hard man Macauley McGowan was Kulakhmet’s last victim.

And the fearless Manchester City fan still has nightmares over that night.

Just watched old foe Kulakhmet obliterate some 20-0 kid in 2 minutes, watching him staring down the kid at the announcements give me ptsd

  • NEW KAZAKH-STAN THE MAN

The 3-0 winner says: “I will improve more and more.

“Nobody wants to fight me, my manager cannot find me opponents and after this win it will be even more difficult.

“We will have to go and try to get world title shots.”

  • R1 – KULAKHMET WINS KO

Kulakhmet drops his overmatched rival with his first punch.

    Rondon begrudgingly beats the count.

Kulakhmet slaughteres him with his second punch.

Rondon is a fake – Kulakhmet is the real deal.

  • HEBER RONDON vs TURSYNBAY KULAKHMET

This looks likes a bizarre rematch as Rondon is 20-0 but the 34-yearold has only been boxing for three years.

Kulakhmet is just 2-0 but a decorated amateur and a Carl Frampton sparring partner.

These super-welters are clashing for Kulakhmet’s WBC international title.
